1. Agreement to Terms
By hiring garments from our website, you agree to these Terms of Service. This agreement outlines your responsibilities, our policies, and the guidelines to ensure a seamless and transparent hire experience. Please review this document thoroughly before placing any bookings.
2. Booking and Payment
- Advance Booking: All bookings must be made at least one week in advance to ensure garment availability. Bookings are not secure until a deposit or full payment has been made.
- Deposit: A deposit or bond may be required at the time of booking. This amount will be held until the garment is returned in accordance with the Return Conditions outlined below.
- Payment Terms: Full payment is required before the item is dispatched for hire. Accepted payment methods will be listed on our website and provided at the time of booking.
- Cancellation Policy: Cancellations may be subject to fees depending on the notice period. Please contact us directly for cancellation details specific to your booking.
3. Bond and Refund Policy
- Refundable Bond: A refundable bond is required in addition to the dress hire price to cover minor damages, such as small stains or minimal wear. The bond amount will be clearly stated during the booking process.
- Refund Process: The bond will be refunded in full if the item is returned in suitable condition as outlined in the Return Conditions. Any damages exceeding the bond amount will result in additional charges.
- Beyond Bond Coverage: Damages that exceed the bond amount are the responsibility of the customer, and additional charges will be invoiced accordingly.
4. Return Conditions
- Return Timing: All hired garments must be returned by the next business day after the hire period. For hires over weekends, items are due by the following Monday. A $10 late fee will apply for each day the garment is overdue.
- Condition Requirements: Garments must be returned in their original condition, free from any unauthorized cleaning, repairs, or alterations. Garments should be returned in the bag provided, along with the Terms & Conditions slip included in the order.
- Cleaning: Do not attempt to wash or clean any hired garments. Cleaning will be handled by our team through professional methods to ensure garment quality.
- Minor Damages: The bond covers minor damages as outlined above. Customers are liable for any further damages, including but not limited to stains, rips, or irreparable wear, which may require additional fees or replacement costs up to the garment's retail value (RRP).
5. Damage and Liability
- Responsibility for Damages: The customer is responsible for any damages sustained during the hire period. Any damage deemed excessive or beyond normal wear and tear will result in additional charges, potentially up to the full retail value of the garment.
- Damage Notification and Payment: Customers will be promptly notified of any damages beyond bond coverage. Payment for these damages must be settled within a specified timeframe provided at the time of notification.
6. Store Credit Policy
- Wrong Size/Fit: Store credit may be offered in cases where an item does not fit, provided the garment is returned in its original condition within the specified timeframe. Refunds will not be issued for fit issues.
- Replacement or Exchange: If a garment is found to be unavailable due to unforeseen circumstances, we will offer a replacement or store credit as a resolution.
7. Usage Guidelines
- Proper Use: The customer agrees to use the garments only for personal use and in a manner appropriate to the type and nature of the garment. Any misuse of garments may result in additional charges.
- Prohibited Actions: Customers are prohibited from altering, cutting, or permanently modifying any garment. Any such modifications will incur full replacement costs.
8. Limitation of Liability
- No Warranty: We do not guarantee the availability, quality, or performance of our garments beyond reasonable expectations. Our liability is limited to the bond amount and excludes any indirect or consequential losses.
- Injury or Damage to Property: We are not responsible for any injury or damage to personal property arising from the use of hired garments.
9. Privacy Policy
We value your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. Your data will be used solely for booking, communication, and transaction purposes in compliance with our Privacy Policy.
10. Transparency and Trust
We strive to provide transparency and build trust through our policies. By hiring from our service, customers acknowledge and agree to abide by these Terms of Service. Clear communication, detailed receipts, and a focus on customer satisfaction are key principles of our operations.
